Last week the advocates who want to more than double the state income tax for Michigan’s highest earners were exposed for trying to pull a fast one – they sought to swap out language and deny public comment on their new petition.  The Board of Canvassers deserves credit and gratitude for ensuring voters have clear information free from political sleight-of-hand.
